I get asked for OOP (Out of Print) books and charts quite often and thought that this BLOG would be an excellent place for many of you to list the books or charts that you would like to exchange or sell. Is Cross Stitch Coming Back?

Recently I spoke with several of my wholesalers as well as with other vendors...asked them if they thought that cross stitch was 'coming back in fashion'. They felt that it was.
In the mid to late 80's, in the larger populated areas, there was a die-down of cross stitch as a medium in the craft area. For the Newbie.....When I first started to Cross Stitch, I really didn't know anything about the material, what it did, how to handle it, how to keep it clean etc. I was unaware of how easily it pulled apart to be honest. At first, I just merely rolled it up on one side and worked with it from one edge. Later on, I just taped it. Neither is really convenient because the rolling marked the material wrinkled and messy, the tape makes it bulky and stiff. But without any other methods, or... -

I've just posted new cross stitch patterns at www.rawhidestudios.com/cross-stitch but quite a few of these charts are only available only as set of one. Some of them are quite complicated and time consuming, but when completed are absolutely gorgeous!
If you're an accomplished stitcher, the main difficulty is time. For the neophyte, I would not discourage you, but really, I'd rather reccomend a smaller...
